have trouble rolling up window
My drivers side window rolls down just fine. But rolling the window up is not very smooth. I can only crank it so far and then I have to let off of it and then continue. The handle also just kind of swings loosely. It feels very loose compared to the other side. I took the handle off and it looks fine. What do I need to replace?

Had the same problem with mine. The problem was a worn out and broken track roller. Part number 33595 if you have Corvette America catalog. You have to remove the window to replace it.

I have a similar problem with my passenger side window on my '80. I have power windows and the window goes down like a guillotine but struggles to go up. In contrast, my driver side window goes up and down just fine. Would the track roller be the cause of my problem? Thanks :confused:

You need to pull the door panels and check all the tracks and rollers. I have power windows that would barely make it up or down, Took 'em completely out of the door and cleaned the old dried grease and gunk off all the rollers and tracks, regreased 'em with white litium and now they are up and down before you can let go of the button. So take a look at yours, you only may need to clean them , and if not, you will know exactly what's broke. The putting back is not that hard either and the adjustments are explained in the manuels.
