Everything I have read says puller style fans flow more air through the radiator. The on temp preference is up to you, but personally, I would go with the cooler temp.

I'd go with Dual 11" Spals, they are pullers. If you are going to purchase a Griffin radiator, check out the DeWitts Website, Tom is a forum member and a good person to deal with. He sells only top quality high performance stuff.

Fan/rad shipped a couple days ago. You should get it any day now. I also sent the UPS tracking info. For those who have not seen one of our packages, here it is:
Simon: I have a '79 and just did the radiator/dual fan deal. go to my pics on the website to see: Project cooling.. (I did not use DeWitts, sorry, but only because I have a local shop here in town)
Shroud is gone.. running with full A/C in 100 degree weather and the temp (with a gun) read 191. w/out the a/c on it was running ~179. NOT BAD I am pleased since my wife complains of riding in it on super hot days.
