1976 clutch pedal
I had a few questions about my clutch pedal, first off it's kinda hard to push in and when I release the clutch, it wants to release fast, why?. Also while I release it, It makes a slight squeak at the pedal, is this Bad?

When you depress clutch pedal the linkage has to overcome the pressure plate springs to release clutch disc. When pedal is released the pressure plate springs return and disc clamped to flywheel.
The squeakI would guess is because the pedal pivot or linkage needs lubricated.
