Default 1972 A/C system update 134a

OK I need some advice on upgrading and restoring my A/C system.
1. Should I replace the POA valve or rebuild it
2. If so were do I buy a new one or sent it for a rebuild
3. I need mounts for the condensation because it was taken out about 20 plus years ago and I’m not sure if there were isolator mounts for it
4 The boat anchor of an A/C compressor weights about 50#s what model is a good replacement for this old hulk
5. What expansion valve to use
6. The fan seams weak is this normal
7 Also I will be replacing the O-rings with news green ones
8 Driving in the summer is like crawling in my oven so
I’m interested in getting the old girl up and running
That being said I have the exhaust manifolds, radiator and front accessories off the car so I have
better access to the A/C system. I would like to complete what I can before I reassemble the engine.
Thanks for the help

https://originalair.com/rebuild-request-form They can rebuild the POA and convert it to 134a. They can also answer questions you may have. I had my POA rebuilt by them, and just sent my drier and original condenser to them. The system hasn’t worked in all the years I have known the car (1991) till now.
