'78 door window track rebuild
I am in the process of rebuilding the window regulator and tracks on my ’78 restomod. No problems with the rebuild except for one issue there is a small two piece plastic button/bushing/spacer that goes in the very front hole of the window glass. My question is should this “button” be oriented toward the inside or the outside of the door. This “button” was missing when I took the window out so no help there. I looked in the AIM and could not determine which way it goes. Also looked at a lot of pictures online and found it oriented both ways. Anyone know how it is supposed to go?
