Billet unit from Summit. I had to extend the adjustment arm as I have wider fabricated valve covers, so not really compatible with tall or wide covers... but with stock covers will work nicely out of the box. I went out and bought some longer socket head hardware before installing as I had to shim mine for other reasons, but they do come with hardware. For small block... and they offer one for BB.

SBC or BBC? Do you have holes on the forward plane of the head?

Alternator Bracket 3951337 for SBC

not sure what year you're asking about, but you can look casting numbers on ebay and find these things. also, late 60's to early 70's chevy pickups used a short water pump with similar bracket.

Got the part number for that bracket. I don't like my header bracket as the bolts keep loosening up over time and it's a bitch to tighten them as the only bolts I could get in there were socket heads.

Check out Alan Grove Components. They make HD brackets for a variety of engine combinations. 1/4" thick painted steel.

I've just either modified original (welded) or used spacers with headers and had no issues.

I'm having a hard time finding this bracket kit's part number on SR.com
Can you post it up please.

I put Alternator Bracket 3951337 for SBC on my 68 (I had holes in the head). It is a wonderful cast iron bracket and I got rid of that lousy troublesome header-type bracket that was on there. You can see many on the fleabay.
