Default Performance U-Joints for 82

I have an 82 with a 383 and approx 500 torque. Street tires so no hard launches on a drag strip. I'm looking to upgrade all u-joints. I'm understanding that solid is the way to go? Suggestions for performance u-joint upgrades? Also size. Thinking 1330 on the drive shaft and 1350 on the half shafts but would appreciate verification.

Thanks all!

Spicer solid u-joints. You have the correct sizes for your car.

So the Spicer 1350 is $81 and the Moog solid super strength is $19. Crazy difference in price of the Spicer and the other brands. Is it worth that much more for the Spicer? Im not drag racing.

Thanks for the input.

Check Rock auto. They have Dana which is Spicer.

If you buy from Rock Auto, make sure you have the right part number. The ones they list are incorrect for the '82 (I learned the hard way). If going with Spicer, 1330 and 1350 are the ones you want.

Default Denny's Drive Shafts

Check at Denny's Drive Shafts. Best prices I found overall, good site structure to get you to the right part, and free shipping once you top a $100. I bought solid Spicer 1330's for my ''80 half shafts and they were $17.50 or so. Also, new strap kits (2 straps, 4 screws) were only around $5 each - I've seen other places asking $15.
