Just a little update here - I bled everything one final time and the last few tiny bubbles came out.
I have yet to check and adjust the pin length.
Overall, the effort required is muuuuuch lower.
Nonetheless, it doesn't feel quite right. I also seem to detect that the rear lock up first and, maybe I am just used to the non-power brakes, they seem to lock up fast as well.
I'll first adjust the pin - then we can examine if the calipers and rubber lines need attention; although it first glance, they look in very good nick.
I did my conversion this week. After first bleed a bit spongey, then bled again and much better. Will do a final bleed in a couple of weeks. My first two cold test runs the LHS locked up first. After a few applications it locks up both sides equally. maybe still some air bubbles on RHS? New pedal position is much lower now. Would prefer if about 1" higher/ A longer clevis would sort that.
