Default New Convertible Top....Question

I have a 1975 convertible and just recently (last Saturday) I had a new Al Knoch tweed cloth convertible top installed...and it looks GREAT! They (Al Knoch) recommends that I leave the top up for 2 weeks so it can stretch....which makes sense. BUT I was wondering...I have a car show this weekend and was wondering what harm would happen if I lowered it just for the show (4 hours) and set it back up afterwards.

Your top should fair well for 4 hours ... the sun will be good for your stretch

I checked with Al Knoch (where I purchased my top) and they said it would be OK to lower the top for 4 hours during the show.
