Is this plug part of my factory alarm?
This 2-prong female connector with a black and a white lead is just hanging out unplugged down by my evap canister and washer tank. I know the washer tank is plugged in properly since I changed out the pump. My factory alarm key on the fender has wires going to it also.
I don’t see a home for this connector. I’m assuming I can just zip tie it out of the way and fuggetaboutit. Correct?
i suspect it has something to do with the alarm because I noticed one of the plunger switches has the same color leads.

I believe that's the plug for the anti-tamper switch that goes beside the key-switch for the alarm on the drivers fender

Yeah that's it. When someone screwed with the key-switch it would break the circuit on that plastic switch and set off the alarm.
IIRC that tamper switch is the same as the one as is used for the headlights to show if they are not all the way up
