1971 Corvette signal light issue update
Put new flasher in and rear taillights blink automatically without putting any directional blinker on. Also you can hear flasher clicking for signal lights in rear up front on passenger side dash.
Took rear two blinker light bulbs out. Everything stopped. I put right signal on , Front right blinks, same with the left signal. No bulbs in the rear light sockets though. I thought blinkers wouldnt work that way. Plus when the front blink it's like a normal cadence.
Could bulbs be bad in rear???

Which flasher? You sure it is not 4 way flasher? Without turn signal on can't flash both sides at once only 4 way. You know there are 2 seperate flashers right? One for turn signals and one for emergency. and they are different. Do you have the correct 2 filament rear bulbs?

start from the beginning, why did you replace the flasher and are you talking about the flasher in the fuse box?
are you sure you didnt push in the 4 way flasher button on the steering column?

Signal lights
Replaced it as somewhere to start on issue, the signal flasher not 4 way. The 4 way not pushed in.
as soon as I turn the key on the back 2 taillights start blinking. Then if you operate blinkers, Front 2 operate correctly, while the back 2 flash together.
Somehow the back 2 lights get power to flash as soon as key gets turned on, , blinker switch????
