Default 77 vette AC system

My 77 has factory VIR ac system and I replaced condenser and new compressor. Put two hour vacuum and tested for leak down for 1 hour and all was good. Charged with 134 and only cools down to 60 coming out of vents. I’m thinking VIR sock may need changed but want to know does it have orfice tube also somewhere. Thanks

The systems with the VIR do not have an orifice tube, the VIR is the metering device.

That article was about a conversion,

The 77 didn't come with a VIR that I know of,

it came with VIR but with the r134 the VIR system will not let it get colder than 58% at vent. I purchased the VIR elminator kit and not she's blows 40 at the vent. Thanks for your reply man I was looking everywhere for a orface tube. Lol
