came around on me
California stop turning to the right. Head into the turn and punch it. Half way through I hear tires squeal. Foot still in it I feel the back end begin to swing left of center. Slight twitch of steering wheel to the left and back on line. Never let off it. It felt good. Very good. There were witnesses. Dont care what they thought. Love raisin hell. Finally a good venture in the vette.
I've been grinning all day! :D

Yeah man....sometimes ill be drivin along all stone cold face no emotions. Do somethin squirrely. I cant help it. Compulsive reaction. Vette impresses me. Corners of mouth begin to curl up. Then teeth are showing full. Smiles a mile wide. :yesnod:

I took a girl from work on a quick trip in the vette today. She was loving it. I've never actually seen somebody melt into a seat before but when I got out onto the main road and floored it in first she was lovin' it. I though we guys were the only ones who got off on noisy horsepower. Anyhow, just to see what she'd think I decided to try my hand at a burnout. (my first by the way) I turned right onto a fairly deserted stretch of road (no cars around) and came to a stop. She looks at me like "What the heck are you doing stopping in the middle of the road?" A very logical thing to think. I planted my left foot on the brake and began applying gas with the right. When the car started to overpower the brakes I stomped the gas and let off the brake a little. Car did a fishtailing burnout for about 20 feet where I completely left off the brake and took off like a cook out of a kitchen. :D She was in awe.
I love Corvettes!
