79 L82 A/C hose replacement
I am starting a new project today to convert the A/C from R12 to R134 - among other things, the compressor and hoses will be replaced. The A/C was discharged with a damaged hose when I bought the car.
Looking at this it looks like I am stuck right off the gate - to remove the A/C hose from the condenser in the front of the engine, it looks like the hood needs to be removed to get access to the connections. Is this a correct assessment or am I missing something obvious?
