Started out the day with a "high-speed" caravan to the coast :D. Saw some forum friends we haven't seen in a while and even met some new ones :D, we had a great turnout and even had an "official meeting"
Thanks to ShanMan I even got to give out forum cups, pens and notepads :D
Everyone, it was great seeing y'all again today and to all the new forum friends we met today, great to have met 'ya and we look forward to many more in the future!
Re: Pics from "Eckler's Reunion 2002" (Mean Green 2000)
Thanks for the pics. Very much appreciated and enjoyed! I, like you, have taken these type of group pictures in 2002. And in previous years. But there is something that strikes me: the number of C3s seems to be falling. For some reason....I see that with our Corvette Club. People seem to have gone to C4 or C5, I presume to avoid the nuisance of "real" mechanical repair. Vrs. just reading the codes and re-setting. I may be wrong on this, but....
happy y'all like 'em, there were some fine examples of Sharks out there today :D

I do know that I waited until very late in the day to take pics, but you're correct, that there were a lot of C5s and C4s :(.....we have a good number of Shark owners in the area and in our little group, the Misfits!
I love all generation and would be a dream to someday own one of each, I know that I plan on keeping mine forever and would never dream of selling it, I know that's not always feasible for everyone though :)

I'll be at the NCRS show for sure. I've already booked a hotel and might take a couple of days off to stay up in Orlando a bit longer and maybe swing by the west coast for a day or so.

Well Paul, I can tell you, I was there but my car was not. It was back home in the garage for some "real mechanical repair". The whole rear end is in parts. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Art from Van Steel about doing my trailing arms and the guys from Vette Brakes and Parts about my suspension needs. There were a LOT of vettes there but the bulk are C4's and C5's. Maybe it's because the C3's are always being "repaired". I don't know, but the C4 and C5 peeps are OK to hang with in my book. The guys and girls at the shows are ALL Corvette enthusiasts. We all have our preferences, but there is mutual respect for all.
Paul,
It was great to meet you and some of the other Misfits yesterday. Here's a composite of some of the vette's in the parking area. I have a bunch of C3 pics that I will be uploading shortly.
