Jegs aluminium heads

Just fitted a pair of Jegs Aluminium heads along with a xe268H-10 Comp cam (.477 intake .480 exhaust) and roller tipped rockers to my 1972, L48 350 engine, great result, carb is Holley street avenger 670, headers, I have re-jetted with 68 primary and 74 secondary's, car is running great with lots more power, great vacuum, timing set at 14degrees before tdc, good idle with slight lope. Oil is Millers 20/50 semi synthetic great classic oil from the UK which contains high levels of ZDDP essential for the flat tappet cam!!

Nice setup! The jegs heads are Profilers & flow well. You must have done some research. Enjoy!

Thanks, yes I did loads of research and being in the UK needed to get it right, I enjoyed excellent US customer service and advise along with loads of tips from your forum!!

If you haven't reset your timing curve to get full advance, without vacuum, of about 36* in by 2,500 rpm - do that and it will run even better.
