Default Rear adjustable strut installation

As I had both trailing arms off to replace the bushings and emergency brake parts with SS I was planning on replacing the rear struts with poly adjustable ones at the same time. Well all the parts came in except the struts. As the city decided to set a deadline for me and the struts are on backorder I went ahead and reassembled the rearend with the worn out struts. So here is the question, can I just support both wheels and remove the old ones with the composite spring still attached or will I have to take it loose to replace them?

I don't think you will have any problem changing the struts with the spring attached, but you will have to provide support under the trailing arms before the shocks and shock mounts are removed. The shocks limit the downwards travel of the t-arms. At least your shock mounts should be easy to remove if you have already had them off. :D
