vacuum hose diagram
Anyone found a good (not the crap from the assembly manual!) vacuum hose diagram for a 1980? What a ridiculous mess that system has turned out to be?! What were they thinking?????
Anyway, enough of my venting. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Otherwise I'll continue to look for a decent car to take pictures of.

Just found this one today. It looks a lot like the old one. Not ideal for you because it includes all the wiper door stuff for 68-72 that you do not have. MJ

Normally I'm not of the habit to promote commercial enterprises but do believe when they produce excellent products that are unique, instructive and quality...it's worthy of mention.
Dr Rebuild produces a poster (2'x3') of the C3 vacuum system and it's a great reference when working on your vette. Mine sits on the wall so when I need to check something...I go right to it. In contrast, the instructions I got from them and I can't find

My pleasure. I used this link quite a bit when I was playing up under my dash. Luckily I had printed it out because, as you noticed, it does not appear to be on the site with the instructions any longer.
