Default QA1 shocks for rear

Which Qa1 shock for the rear? I have seen TS 403 and TS 508 listed.

It looks like 508 is a front shock.
https://www.jegs.com/i/QA1/122/TS508/10002/-1

It's also available as a semi-coilover.

Yes you are correct . What was throwing me off was the Summit site says the 403 shock will not fit my 76.
The 508 is not as long and crosses to my application on the Summit website.
I have heard about limiting the extended length so the half shafts cannot bind and break things.

I also have the TS403 single adjustables on my 71'. They work great for me...I adjust them for different uses. The double adjustables are probably better but, the singles are fine for average street cars.

Summit is wrong.......the 403's are specific for the rear of '68-'82 Corvettes. Perfect extended length. Website info: https://www.qa1.net/suspension/stree...ker-star-shock

Not sure on what you saw on the summit site. I just pulled this:

Pretty much the same suspension when it comes to shocks for all C3's. Just put a set of single adjustable 403's on my '80 this weekend. The max extension was identical to the old Gabriels I pulled off and is within the range that Bair's specifically notes not to exceed when they send a rear end to you.

I saw the Summit listing that says "no fit", also. If you follow the site directions and enter your car "19xx Corvette", it will say "this part does not fit your Corvette". That info needs to be updated.
