Steering Coupler
I removed the steering box and the severely worn coupler. (with pitman arm attached.) When installing the new gear box and coupler isn't the flat supposed to be at the 12 o' clock on the steering column and the flat on the gear? The picture above is where I found the column flange. Can the flange be removed by prying it open a little and tapping the flange to remove it to the column to ensure the coupler is properly installed?
