(1) Can anyone provide a list of options ? (I don't have my black book handy).
(2) Does the VIN identify the engine? This car supposedly had a big block which was replaced by a small block  engine from a corvette of unknown year or type. Are there any clues that would verify that a big block was once there?
2) nope, can't tell by the VIN. You need to look for the usual signs that the car was a big block originally: heavy duty side yokes, rear sway bar, tach redline, etc.
