Just wanted to shout out to Vince Janis from Janis Transmission in Akron Ohio. The guy is a total professional and has been in the trans business his whole life. He does most of his work on Buick Grand Nationals. Mine (1978) was his first C3 that he has done. I supplied the Bowtie Overdrive cross member and he did the rest. The car was done on time, never was outside and drives perfectly. He set up the governor and the TV cable to the feel and shift points that I wanted. $2,200.00 including the trans and installation out the door. If your not too far away from Akron he is the man. $2200 is not a bad buy for a 200 4R and converter installed. I have a contact in Arkansas that has done and shipped a few of these to me. Always makes life easier when you find a professional to build you one.

Vince built my 200 4r but I installed myself. His reputation is stellar and his transmissions handle big power.
I know he had a Gn that ran 9's at one time with a 200 4r. Vince is a good guy and will tell you what you need for your build
without trying to sell things you do not need. He also did my diesel truck trans and it worked perfectly.
