The only real and correct way is to replace the gaskets. Just do it!

If its in a spot that will be an all day job to replace the gasket, then instead use a product called The Right Stuff by Permatex. Its basically Permatex Black but in a aerosol can with a nozzle instead of a squeeze tube. It is a quick set, works well to fill in gaps, oil & gas proof. Can be found at AutoZone in different size cans.

Thanks the gasket is a `1256 special to the Eldenbrock intake and it has to be special order I do not want to pull the intake because the whole motor has leaks. (original L-82) I will wait till fall!
