What is the question?
If those are used GM gears, which they look like, then the coast pattern looks equal, cut the lash to 6-8 and recheck it. The pinion hit the posi case so you might want to address that.
Gear is new Richmond
initially had to many shims on the pinion hence the pinion marks on the carrier
miss read pinion depth tool
specs called for 8 to 12 lash
thanks for reply
The drive looks terrible but if they were used gears I would be looking at the coast which looks a lot better. It appears to be equal, at least in the one picture. Richmonds run looser lash 8-10
The drive pattern appears to be longer in the root then crown, set to the toe. The toe isn't the problem you want to get the root and crown equal as the coast appears. Go with a thinner shim under the pinion bearing. Go 005 thinner at first to see how the pattern changes. Keep the lash where they recommend- 008-010 but will be etched in the side of the gear.
Are you loading the pinion while turning the RG to pattern? Mix your paste with a little gear oil to smooth it out, you can get a clear pattern that way.
I dropped the shims another 10k
pattern look better
i took pics butnot very good ones
all back together now
took test drive no unusual sounds
however the trans got took out when rear end blew up
put in drive or second no go
put in low and manually shifts it works
