Broken gas pedal bracket
I've got a 69 and in that year the has pedal was a two piece design. Between the two parts was a small plastic bracket that attaches to the firewall.
Mine broke so I've been running with some serious and probably dangerous bubba bracket. Has anybody done anything different with the gas pedal? Aftermarket pedal? Aftermarket bracket? Anything home made and not bubba?

That fancy piece wasn't available when mine broke 20+ years ago. I made one from strap steel stock, very labor intensive if the part was available from Zip back them I would of gone that way. T
