Default sorry another question: decided aluminized..but 'X' pipe?

My problem is I have no exhaust under car except maybe 2ft from factory manifolds. cut off before the cross-over with exhaust through holes in it. I decided to go the aluminized factory looking set-up with the rectangle tips out back. I see some on net but seems most are with 'X' pipe? Is this a good way to go and will it still come out in back right? I don't know what or how many hangers so I guess buy many. The X pipe is my main question. any leads to who to get from? definitely look into corvette mod- Willcox- Allen. I also will be buying 2 new door panels so leads on them too? people who have bought such can give me heads up on quality, etc. Hope this is ok to ask. Thank you! This site has so much wealth of info it's tops.

Its all personal preference, some of it is just trend. Prefer dual straights so its easier to work on if you have to pull a trans, gives more of the old school tone too.
If you have one bank that is blowing smoke youll know right away which one. Never felt a difference with no crossover, H or X it was more of a tone thing.
