My search skills are lacking this evening. I need the tapered ferrule that attaches the oil line to the gauge fitting. I have plenty of the barrel shaped ferrules but can't find the tapered. Does anyone know if the local parts houses ( NAPA, O'Reilly;s, etc.) carry these and a part number?

Can't make link work. Google 69 Corvette oil pressure gauge hose. Ecklers has a whole copper line kit 10 bucks.
I did find that. That might have to be the way I go. I was hoping to find one locally to get the car back on the road quicker. Thanks.

The flexible lines originally used in the C3 mechanical gauge requires a asymmetrical ferrule (you can't use a barrel ferrule as it will not contain the line under operating conditions).
These are difficult to find singly. It more cost effective to simply buy an assembled flexible line with the ferrules and compression fittings installed.

Thanks Fred. I did finally order a line kit. I'd still like a couple of those asymmetrical ferrules for my tool box if I can locate them.
