2.5" side exhaust?

2.5" side exhaust?
I'm about to drop a 383 in my 75. I've ordered McJack Ramhorn manifolds with the 2.5" collector, and am wanting to go with Allen's 2.5" side exhaust. The 2.5" side exhaust shows to be for a 70-74 big block and I'm needing to know with it being listed as for a BB if will still bolt up to the 383 with the ram horns with out any modifications.

You should give Allen's a call (574-722-7272) and tell them what you are wanting to do. If they don't have a 2.5" system for a SB set-up to fit your car I believe they can and will do special requests.

Allen's made a set of 2.5 inch side exhausts for my 69 BB. I suggest you have them made in pieces with a slip fit to the mufflers. That way you can make them fit perfectly,

Thanks for the advice. After waking up at 2am with this still on my mind, I spoke with McJacks today and changed my order to 2" collectors. I already have Allens side exhaust bolted to the factory manifolds now so I imagine this decision saved me about $700 to try and change to 2.5" collectors.
Waiting on the TKO600 to arrive any minute.....get the 383 ordered at the end of the month and then let the fun really begin.
