Trailing Arm question
While I had my trailing arms out I noticed that the right side had approx. 1/32 of play between the spindle and U-joint flange. I could hold the spindle and rock the flange back and forth where the other one had none. Could it be the spindle or flange splines have worn a bit and should I replace them? Or is a little play in the splines ok to run? I also noticed on that same side the new U-joints were not a press fit in the 1/2 shaft (pushed them in with my fingers). That side must have let go in it's younger days and did some damage to the shaft. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
