Default Master cylinder
Despite new bales and new gasket and not seeing any grooves or Debris on the cylinder it continues to leak. Can anyone help?

Clean it off real good. I mean real good. Find the exact spot its leaking from. If the rim smooth? Any rust on it?

H-m-m-m-m-m. Reminds me when I thought it was a good idea to put a chrome lid and chrome bails clamps on my MC. The after market lid was too small, the box store gasket was too big and the chrome bails did not fit the holes. I put all of these items in the round file box. Back to Delco.

exactly where do you see the fluid, between the back of the master cylinder and booster? If so the master needs to be replaced or rebuilt.

Same. The chrome lids are almost a gauranteed leaker. I tossed a couple of them as well.

clean smooth and no rust. I made a cork gasket and put it between cap and rubber gasket. Super right now. When rain stops will take a drive. Thx

that is my next move if my cork inlay fails. Thx

seems wet up to and under cap. Everything clean and dry top to bottom will test drive when rain stops. Placed a cork gasket between cap and rubber seal.

Brake fluid is pretty corrosive. I would think that eventually the fluid will eat that cork for lunch.

it’s a cork rubber hybrid, I will keep a close eye on it if it initially works.
