Hi all, I’m in the process of installing and studying the vacuum lines on my 73 and came upon this puzzle that I can’t seem to find an answer to:
the vacuum intake on the rear of the intake manifold (next to the distributor) has some strange line routing that I want to correct. I understand it splits, one line going to the headlight operation, but the other line I can’t seem to figure out where it is going. I found he following image in a topic here in the forum, which I have circled the line in question.
I’ve looked through the forums and also have looked in my assembly manual, but I can’t seem to find the answer so I came for help here. Where does this lead to, and what is the reason for it to be a copper line? Thank you
