Default tie rod end set up

Front suspension is just about wrapped up. Time to put the steering components back together. When I took apart the steering rods I did not keep track of which way the tie rod threads came out so now I am confused about how to reinstall it. The tie rods came color coded red and green. The green is left hand thread so I assume that each rod gets one green and one red so that it adjusts like a turnbuckle. Which way do the rods go on? Two inner tie rods get the green, two inner tie rods get the red, or one side of the car gets green on the outside and the other side of the car gets the red on the outside?

Functionally, it doesn't matter as far as the left/right hand thread is concerned. Correct from factory, I don't know. Does it matter?
Are the ends that you have exact mirror images? If 1 is larger, does 1 end need more clearence?
I think I would install them opposite end for end, so that rotating them the same direction--top of rod rotating towards the front--lengthens one and shortens the other. Makes it easy to center your steering wheel. Alignment guys should be able to figure it out.

This may help.

That's what I was looking for. Looks like the two outer tie rods are the left hand thread.
Thanks
