Default Heater fan speed

A number of months ago there was a posting about installing a later year
heater fan in a C3. I'm sure I printed it out for future ref. but have misplaced
it. I don't remember if it was out of a C4 or C5, but it increased air flow
dramatically. I did a search but the thread wasn't on the list that came up.
Any help on this subject would be great, it will be a good small winter project
improving air flow. Steve

I replaced mine with a fan from a 95 or 98...auto zone I think it was under 30$ had to make a spacer out of wood 3/4 thick altho the fan body is something like 1 1/4 longer a thinner spacer was aceptible and did not rub and did increase the air flow 2-3X

I originaly made one 11/2 but it cracked so I cut one first 3/4 and on the test fit found that you did not need the full 11/2 inches,I was using 2 -3/4 boards glued together at first
