Yet more alternator questions...
the 'other one' is the one oclock regulator post...and it goes to an ALT light in the normal car...but frankly it's been SO long that my '72 has been rewired, I can't see/find trace of an 'alt/gen/batt' red light in the instr panels anywhere, and In fact a restored '72 showed up the other day with a bad alternator, and I saw no lights for him either....
I have NO idea as my '72 wiring diagram is messed up on that sense wire...
I have traced that thing pretty well in the diagram...but the way it's drawn makes NO sense.....
now in an A bod, B body car of the same generations....the bulb in question goes to a SWITCHED hot source, and the other end of the bulb goes to the alt post in question....to be grounded by the regulator IF the alt voltage falls way lo....
