I recently took delivery of a 1982 Collectors Edition with less than 14,000 original miles. It has a problem with very long cranking time,
especially when the engine is warm. My mechanic has tested a number of items which all seem ok and has replaced the full pump as
it was reading low pressure. But still the problem remains.
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this and what should be checked?

When you try to start it it warm, does it idle fine after it starts or does it seem like it's runs a little rough for a minute or so then goes smooth? If it does run a little rough, it may be because it thinks that it needs to be choked as if cold and your IACs are not working properly at warm start, but working or seemingly appears to be working OK at cold start. Also, check the CTS sensor, it can give you this issues as well. BTW, what is your fuel pressure checked in-between the TBs for a an accurate reading? Do you ever get a CEL light or a quick flashing CEL?
