Default Good Price?

I'm buying this early 70's 350 long block for $250. Straight out of a car bone stock. Is this a good price? She also said that she could strip, tank, and magnaflux the block, heads and crank for $200. She lives in New York and I thought it would be better for her to magnaflux the thing to make sure she doesn't send me a cracked block or anything. (she says she has more than one block) Are these good deals? I'm gonna end up getting it bored 20 or 30 over and putting all new parts except for maybe the crank...

Which brings me to another question...You think it would be ok to use the stock crank for an engine that I'm gonna be building to have around 450 hp at the fly. I'm planning on eventually adding on a supercharger and shooting some nos. I would have the thing balanced for sure. I'm getting forged pistons and rods though...So I was thinkin maybe it would be better to just go all out and buy a crank too...What do you guys think? I've seen some good (i think) bottom end kits for sale that have bearings, pistons, rings, rods, and crank (all forged) included for 1800 bucks ready to put in. Would this be a better route? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
