I've seen dozens of posts regarding issues with the Ebrake but I can't find any related to mine. The ebrake handle is able to be pulled to an almost vertical position so I know it needs an adjustment. The weird thing is that it will stop the car from rolling backward but not forward. Any ideas what the problem is?

Something is loose inside the rotor and in reverse it's allowing it to slide one way and sort of wedge/jamb inside and stop the movement, in forward it's sliding the other way and stays loose
