I have these drops of gasoline coming from the passenger side of the engine This was after sitting 4 days with just over a half tank of gas in her. Any suggestions what I should look at. I don’t have the shop manual. Any help is appreciated These are the drips.
Look at the fuel pump and hoses first. If you can get your hand down there, feel if the pump body is wet with gas. Check the rubber lines, they are the most likely causes of a leak. The threaded fittings at the pump can leak if the threads are messed up or they aren’t tight.
When I came back from my drive today the spots were gone from the cardboard. That tells me the gas may have come from starting up? I’ll check the hoses and connections. It’s still all original so it may be loose or old. Thanks
