Anyone have any idea what this is. Was taking apart my ‘72 center gauge cluster and this piece popped out. Some type of small retainer. I thought it wa something for the clock but not sure.
Appeciate any help with this C3 mystery.!

No fiber optics on the '72. Honestly, I can't imagine what that would be from - I rebuilt the clock on my '72 and do not recall seeing anything like that.
Ah, yes - that is it. There is no "circuit board" on the '72 clock, but there are several pieces that are made of clear plastic that are held together by these little clips - that one still has part of the stalk that the clip grabs on to in it.
