Headlamp Vacuum Help
I recently bought a '78 Corvette (my first). I was installing a new stereo and accidently disconnected both of the vacuum lines on the manual headlamp door switch. The headlamp doors opened. I reconnected both of the vacuum lines but the doors won't close. Does the system have to be reset or something.

No, maybe u got the lines backward? Try reversing the vacuum lines on the switch
If that doesn't work, make sure you didn't pull a line loose elsewhere. From the auxillary switch, one line goes up to the headlight switch and the other goes to the vacuum source.

This months Vette mag has a schematic drawing of where all the lines go. I suggest checking it out.
