I had a scary week!

I went to Texas last week to pick up my wife's Escalade she bought on Ebay. On the way back, about 5 hrs. from my home, I started having real bad lower back and chest pains. It was pretty unbearable, so I decided to stop at a small Hospital/Clinic in Burns, OR. Long story short, one week later, I'm home recovering from emergency open heart surgerey. I had an aortal dissection. I won't go into a lot of details, but it's a bad thing. Had to get air lifted to a bigger hospitol in Bend, OR to get opened up. Anyway, just wanted to check in and let everyone know how good it is to see you all again.

I'm still doing my BB swap, just might take a little longer now.

I am glad you're OK!!! That was smart to stop and see a doctor!!!

Don't worry about the BB swap. Let me know if you need help on it. Take your time and slowly buy parts that you need. I have the motor in the car right now but I still need things I didn't think of!!!

Real glad you caught it in time.It just shows there is no age limit on these things. Had problems last May myself.Installed a stent and 2 weeks later felt better than I had in years. Hope you feel better soon. :)

This is one topic that hits close to home for me too. I am 34 also. My grandmother, and my dad both had heart troubles. Finally got my dad about 4 years ago. We really got to take care of ourselves.
Take care of yourself so we can hang out here.
