Okay I am not too good at taking pictures, but wanted to show you guys the top. It is actually better than I anticipated given all of the good and bad things said about it here.

It fits quite good and I am satisfied with it. Of course, I am unsure how long it will take the Florida sun?

Actually, very good! The windows are tight. I think the weatherstriping might have been recently improved.

For the money, I like it, but might consider real glass sometime in the future.

The dark smoke grey on the white car is just the contrast I wanted.

Looks nice! I've thought about one for a while, but I don't think the black will go well with my blue.

Looks great, does it attach the same way as the OEM's?

Try taking it above 70 mph and then see if it is still as air tight as you think!
Sorry, but I was very dissapointed with mine and when I asked them about a warranty period for dissapointed customers they replied :U :U :U :U - That ended me as a ongoing customer, now our astro top sits in the barn next to the horses stall, covered in dust, I just can't seem to be able to throw this thing out after spending all that money- I hope yours is better but, ours really sucked in keeping water and wind out!

In a pre 78 it will be a little difficult to stow - and there is no way you can stow it while in the car.

It is not quick release and will require anywhere between 2-5 mins to install or remove depending on how used to it you are

It does not mount in the oem fashion - it does use the alignment holes on the winshield header for the front mounts - the aft mounts are very chintzy and have a tendency to crush the weatherstripping to the point where fit becomes poor. Also I hope you bought the storage bag as the Acrylic scratches incredibly easy - do not use a terry cloth towel on it - diapers or paper towels only.

The weatherstripping can be made to work and can hold out wind and rain. When I first got mine it fit well (after I fiddled with the weatherstripping) and sealed better than my t-tops ever did. I was very pleased with the part at that point.

That lasted maybe 6 months after which the part deteriorated quickly until the weatherstripping started to fall off (the glue gave out). then pieces of weatherstripping along the back edge started to stay compressed so now the fit is horrid.

I also do not like the design of the rear mounts - I am convinded that if you have this mounted and you are involved in any accident that might cause you head to move back and to the side - that the end result will be a surgeon removing that mount from your grey matter - or at the very least removing the shards of skull that will get puched into the grey matter - there is the big round **** and sever hard - sharp corners that are just way too close to my head for comfort.

Looks good. I though about going that route. I ended up going with the soft top instead.

I HAVE THE ASTRO TOP ON MY 76 L-48 AN WISH I HAD SAVED MY MONEY. I DON'T LIKE THE WIND NOISE AND THE WEATHER STRIPPING LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRES. I ASKED THE COMPANY ABOUT THEIR RETURN POLICY AND WAS TOLD " YOU BUY IT YOU KEEP IT." IT DOES LOOK GREAT AND IT GIVES YOU ADDITIONAL HEAD ROOM BUT IF I HAD TO DO IT OVER AGAIN, FORGET IT...
