Still trying to get 82 back to life, and in checking vacuum hoses found the ERG solenoid which appears to be broken. Can someone explain how this works and if there is a broken vacuum connection on the end opposite the ERG hose? Is it importannt to the operation of the engine, and if not, how to bupass the relay. New ECU and chip, but engine runs at 2000 RPM on startup.
Thanks
Update: Blocked the vacuum ports on each throttle body (except the MAP sensor) and idle dropped to 900 rpm. Rear injector appears to be dumping large amount of fuel while the front has a nice even spray.
