TR:
Clearly advertized as poly ... did you ask seller for refund of auction & shipping etc? Give em a shot ... it may've been an honest mistake. BTW, that's a fair price for rubber. I gave up trying to get a deal on poly off ebay ... bought a whole front end kit w/ ES poly, ball joints, tr ends, idler & more from Van Steel in Florida for $200 ... satisfied w/ good deal from reliable source.

A complete poly kit from prothane costs 100 bucks at summit.
That includes all the trailing arm and a arm bushings, ball joint boots, tie rod bushings, diff bushings, ps ram bushing, sway bar end links, rear spring bushings

I didnt know GM made Poly replacement bushings, definitly advertised as Poly - Getting money back from E-bay is often a thankless task, you only real hope is the seller is honest and made an honest mistake. Leave really awefull feedback if he doesnt produce your money, you could also complain to ebay, but that is a lot like shouting at the wind.
He will certainly ask that you return the parts to him before he returns your money, that of course leaves you open for not having parts - AND - being out the money.
I'm sorry I'm all doom and gloom, I have very little trust in E-bay sellers in general.
Re: poly is not the same as rubber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Titanium Rat)
My son has had major problems with his e-bay deals. Just recently he sold an exhaust system, then the buyer backs out after the deal is done because of shipping costs. There really isn't much you can do other than leave bad feedback about the buyer(or seller in your case). You have every right to be p'd off, but feel lucky the deal wasn't worth hundreds. Try selling your rubber parts here on the forum and apply the money through a legitimate source for the parts you wanted.

well the guy chewed me out for not wanting his "good price" on rubber bushings, and then said that he will refund my money,,,so we will see what happens
Re: poly is not the same as rubber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Fevre)
I would consider using the rubber ones. I bought poly bushings for my 90 that I had and the ride was too hard, I did'nt like them. I bought all rubber and replaced all my bushings again, the ride was nice and soft.... Poly bushings are over rated, too stiff of a ride. They are good if your doing competition racing but I would never again put them on a daily driver.

Do you want to do the job again? I am planning on using poly for all that are a PITA to replace, control arm bushings being the major ones, and rubber for the easy ones. This way I get a little softer ride but don't have to yank the control arms again. Just a thought.
