Headlights winking at me
1972 big block, just finished rebuilding vacuum system for lights. All new hoses, override switch, relays and check valve. Didn’t replace dash headlight switch or actuators. When I start the car, the left headlight pops up without pulling the switch. The override switch doesn’t seem to have any affect on the operation of the lights. The right headlight doesn’t go up at all, even if I pull the dash switch. I’m sure all the hoses are plumbed correctly. Any ideas of what is going on will be appreciated. Thx, Bob

Back when I was running the Vacuum system in my 74 I had almost the same issue after replacing everything but the actuators. I finally replaced the actuator seals that are covered up by the dust boot over the rod..when you see them they look like Witches hats! . very easy fix. IMO!! Good luck
