Can someone tell me the Difference in the frame mount side ball studs as seen in pic there is one for 68-71 and 72-81 I was thinking it was in the length ? so I called zips and the counter guy went and got both part # s and said side by side.
he cant tell any difference in them ? the z-bar is the same for 68-81 ? also on some diagrams they show 2 of the white plastic ball seats on the frame mount ball stud. and some show one on the engine ball stud ? my cross shaft rebuild kit only came with 2 seats. I think I need 3 ?

IIRC when I rebuilt mine the 2 plastic seats went on the ball side in each end, then there was a seal on the back side of the ball. The felt washer to collect the grease, and road dirt.
