Default 76 idle vacuum

So, new Holley 600, Edelbrock EPS manifold, OBS headers and side exhaust, new vacuum lines, L82 motor. 13in vacuum at idle at about 800 rpms. Isn't this low? Or do I have an aftermarket cam in it? No history. Its original motor, so I guessed no, but has distinctive lope to it. Any way to know for sure?

I would expect stock vacuum in the 17 to 20 range.

Put a degree tape on the damper, pull the valve cover and put a dial indicator in the rocker and measure the lift and duration - both intake and exhaust - then you know what you have.

Double check your timing first.

Thanks! Timing is another topic. If we have a bit, maybe 5 degrees advanced, that effect it? What should best be? Seems to run real well there.
