Default Question about DeWitts Radiators

My original radiator has failed in my 1974 with 350 and auto trans. I’ve decided to upgrade and go with a DeWitts. I see many sites selling the 1139073a radiator which seems to be the correct option for my car for over $500.

My my question is that zip corvettes lists a DeWitts Radiator for my car for $400 it’s the RA-232

Does anyone know the difference? Were a few corners cut to make a cheaper unit for zip corvettes or is this just the best place for me to get a DeWitts Radiator for my Vette?

mine for the early 76 was 550ish, and fits like factory, wonderfully...
bought it from dewitts website, i'd call them Monday and ask them directly what are the differences.

DeWitts manufacturers these for Zip using the same double row core and fin design as the standard model. These are built in higher volume, with robotically (Mig) welded end tanks and the side channels are basic flat panels instead of the GM style hat channels. The fit and performance is the same.

I started an annual tradition with my january birthday sale and the new owners (AFCO) have kept that going. I expect to see something around mid January to be posted.

Tom, Love the new avatar. Don’t know when you retired or when that logo was done but you have earned it. Highly recommend anything Dewitts. Have used them many times. Quality costs but you will never have an issue with their products.
