key code?
I want to buy an original GM blank for my '70 ignition, apparently they are different codes for the blanks?
Will an A code work in my '70?[listing states it's for a '71, sent seller a message, havent heard back yet] Thanks

My GM key code book says 1970 was "J" for ignition and "K" for glove box. So the "A" blank won't fit. Had one of each, you can see the grooves are different so it won't enter the lock. No idea if these are GM or not (I think they are) they had the key code knock-out removed. If it's close enough for you, you can have it.

Codes are not interchangeable due to the grove profile of the key.
1970 key code / blank# / grove code
Primary J 320470 58
Secondary K 320471 59
