Mateable?... 76 400sbc + a 2002 Vette 6spd???
I'm wondering if a 6spd tranny from a C5 will bolt up to my 76 400 small block?
The bolt patterns look the same...
Right now I have an M25 Muncie 4spd. I LOVE IT! but we came across whats left of a wrecked C5 for free. :confused: :confused: :confused:
A 6spd sure would be fun...

I don't think so, I think the C-5 6 speed is built in as part of the rearend. Now if you could get the whole rear assembly you might get it to work. But I bet it would cost you more money in fabrication costs than buying a Camaro /Firebird 6-speed from a wrecking yard.
